Hello! I'm Kathleen, a multidisciplinary teaching artist passionate about creating simple yet expressive paintings, mixed-media pieces, and unique textile designs. From florals to landscapes to fashion-inspired compositions, I paint a variety of subjects that bring joy and a sense of calm to people's lives.

I enjoy using a variety of mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, pastels, and textiles, to create beautiful, loose artwork that is both expressive and emotional. I love incorporating vibrant colors and bold brushstrokes, using a range of mediums to add texture and interest, making them come to life. My love of painting is reflected in every piece of artwork that I create, and I am always looking for ways to challenge myself as an artist and a teacher. 

 

As a teaching artist for over three decades, I am dedicated to positively impacting others and sharing my passion for the arts. I aim to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels free to unwind and unleash their creativity.  I strongly believe in the therapeutic benefits of creating art and enjoy helping others relax and enjoy their creative expression. I work passionately to provide students with the skills and tools to develop and achieve their visions in a safe, welcoming space that helps them explore their creativity.
